Established in 2024 and now conveniently located in Spokane Valley, Mountain Stone Massage stands as an oasis of relaxation and healing, offering a refuge from life's daily pressures. Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Personal Trainer, Jesseca Matthews, has poured her passion and knowledge into creating this unique massage studio. Policies & Procedures
Your time is valuable, and I commit to providing you with a personalized and outstanding experience. I have adopted the following policies to serve as a guide for first-time and repeat guests of Mountain Stone Massage & Wellness.
Your Comfort Consultation
During your comfort consultation, we will talk about comfort and treatment requests so you feel safe and at ease. We will create a plan of care that meets your needs and works for you. Please feel free to ask any questions. Remember, the massage session is for your wellness.
Please notify the massage therapist of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment.
I am happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, work longer on an area, or move on if you request it.
The client may choose to: leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods, or stop the massage at any time.
The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. The clients will be kept informed of the area to be massaged.
Conversation during treatment will be guided by the client’s direction.
Please be freshly showered and scent-free when you arrive for your massage session.
Sexual Misconduct
Sexual misconduct is forbidden. Client understands that any illicit or sexually aggressive remarks, advances, or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session and client will be liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment.
Arrivals
First-time guests should arrive 10 minutes early for their first appointment to check in and ensure they complete the required paperwork.
Late Arrivals & No Shows
To be fair and courteous to our other clients and staff, appointments will be automatically canceled 10 minutes after the scheduled start time and charged according to the cancellation policy. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule. We understand life happens. Please call if you can't keep your appointment.
Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. If a client cancels within the 24-hour window or no shows for their appointment, the client will be required to pay for the next scheduled appointment upfront in order to receive an appointment time.
